SCHEDULE 

In this presentation a few short and very effective creative techniques will be presented, including creative use of material, e.g.:

- Stamping critique sentences

- Use of hand puppets

- Psychoeducation by means of turning dolls

The techniques and material are introduced and then demonstrated in a role play with a patient actor.

The experience-based and experience-oriented techniques support emotional activation in therapy and thus facilitate therapy enormously.

About the Presenter

Christian Ferreira de Vasconcellos

Christian works in his practice in Frankfurt with children, adolescents, adults and groups. In addition, he is a dedicated lecturer, supervisor and self-awareness leader at many training and advanced education institutes. Christian is also an author for various publishers.

Christian is an advanced certified schema therapist, supervisor and trainer for individual, group, and children and adolescents therapy. He currently serves as Treasurer on the ISST Executive Board, and is dedicated to the growth and advancement of schema therapy. Christian is currently working on creating a Schema Therapy Institute in Frankfurt am Main for children and adults, and groups (ST-CA and GST).

Christian specializes in the creative use of techniques and unique materials, hallmarks of his therapeutic working style in schema therapy. Besides his work Christian enjoys his family life together with his husband Francisco, and his son Emilio, along with his two therapy poodles and cats.
