Terms of reference:  This committee consists of prominent and experienced academics and researchers who can advise the society on matters concerning the scientific status of the theories on which schema therapy is based and the evaluation of its application to particular clinical populations or in particular contexts.

The Committee reports to the Science and Research Coordinator  or directly to the Executive Board.
