Schema Therapy for Clinical Sport Psychology - Special Interest Group

This SIG is for members interested in applying schema therapy concepts and practice in working with athletes and sportswomen and sportsmen with an interest in promoting peak performance and addressing the psychological problems that arise in these contexts. The aims of the SIG are:

  • To share experiences of working in this context using the schema therapy approach,
  • To share information and research relevant to applying schema therapy in this context,
  • To develop principles and guidelines for the application of schema therapy in clinical sports psychology.

Do you have any experience in clinical sport psychology? Are you interested working with athletes? If you said yes one of the questions, this is the right group for you!
