Certification in Schema Couples Therapy 

A specialty level Certification in Schema Couples Therapy was approved by the 2014-2016 ISST Executive Board, and updated in 2017. Schema Couples Therapy was developed by a committee of senior schema therapists, including but not limited to: Eckhard Roediger, Chiara Di Francesco, Travis Atkinson, Poul Perris, Larry Riso, Bruce Stevens, and Mary Giuffra. The 2017 update was developed by Travis Atkinson, Eckhard Roediger, Poul Perris, Mary Giuffra, and Larry Riso.

Like the original schema therapy certification for work with individuals, Schema Couples Therapy has its own requirements, training modules and competency rating scale. The application used for certification is the standard one used for all certifications.
