About
I have worked as a psychotherapist for 30+ years in a variety of clinical and academic settings. I am currently focused on my work with Joan Farrell. Ph.D. at the Indianapolis Center of the Schema Therapy Institute Midwest-Indianapolis, which we founded in 2010, a sister to the original STIM Michigan. We provide training and supervision in Schema therapy and the Group Schema Therapy model that we developed. We collaborate with other ST Institutes internationally to provide training and supervision in group schema therapy (13 countries so far).
I have written three books on ST published by Wiley-Blackwell: Group Schema Therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder, 2012 and The Schema Therapy Clinician's Guide, 2014. A DVD of our group ST model is also available: Group Schema Therapy: an Innovative Approach to treating patients with personality disorder in groups, IVAH 2012. We have several published journal articles and chapters in many ST edited volumes. Our third book with Guilford Press: Schema Therapy from the Inside-Out, which is part of the series edited by James Bennet-Levy, has been published, 2018
