Hélène Bögels is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist. She is supervisor/trainer in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Schema Therapy (Dutch register Schema Therapy and ISST). In the last 30 years she works in outpatient and day treatment settings, mainly treating personality disorders. She works in her private practice and also in the mental health care institute Reinier van Arkel in the Netherlands (with adults and adolescents).
She is an active member of the Dutch Society of Schematherapy: she has the chair of the International Connections Committee of the Dutch Society of Schematherapy. She is the national coördinator for the ISST in the Netherlands. She was a member of the Training and Advisory Board of the ISST 2017-2024.
