About
I am clinical psychologist with over 16 years experience. My professional career was established working with military personnel (serving and ex-serving). As an ex-serving soldier, military psychologist, contracted psychologist to Defence, wife to a serving veteran and daughter of a Vietnam veteran; I have experienced many of the rigours of military life. Throughout my career I have actively been involved in the treatment and prevention of mental health issues and the performance enhancement of military personnel in a range of settings, across the Australian Defence Force.

I currently own and operate my private practice in Brisbane, QLD Australia, which specialises in veteran health and people who have not had much success with therapy in the past. I am certified as an Advanced Level Individual Schema Therapist & trainer / supervisor and I have thoroughly enjoyed combining my two passions (veteran health and schema therapy) over the past few years.

I offer a unique schema therapy for working with military personnel. I offer training and supervision in this area and I am currently engaged in a research project at Griffith University to validate this approach.
