Dr Chirine Dakkak is the founder of the Québec Schema Therapy Training Institute and a clinical psychologist with nearly two decades of private practice experience in Montreal. She is an Advanced Schema Therapist and a Certified Trainer and Supervisor in Schema Therapy. Her doctoral work completed at Université de Sherbrooke primarily centered on investigating the impact of a training workshop on the attitudes of mental health professionals toward borderline personality disorder.
Having witnessed the transformative impact of Schema Therapy firsthand, Dr. Dakkak is driven to equip fellow professionals with the tools and insights needed to create lasting change in clients' lives. She finds immense joy in guiding colleagues through the nuances of Schema Therapy, helping them refine their skills, and witnessing their confidence soar as they navigate more complex cases.
