Personal Group Schema Therapy for Therapists (individual Skype session + 1 day - £270)

Friday 3rd February 2017 London: venue TBA

This is a day of group therapy for therapists, led by an experienced group schema therapist. The group will be capped at 10 participants. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about your own schemas and modes in interaction with fellow therapists; to become enriched through observing similarities and differences with colleagues.

The day will include:

•  several Schema Therapy techniques

•  sharing feelings and thoughts

•  promoting greater awareness of schemas and modes

•  showing the vulnerable child

•  encouragement to connect with other group members

Participants are required to fill out Young Schema (YSQ) and Schema Mode (SMI) Questionnaires in advance of the group therapy day. They will then have a 30 minute Skype session with Michiel van Vreeswijk to discuss the results and to prepare for the group therapy.

Michiel van Vreeswijk is a Clinical Psychologist, certified as a Schema Therapist and Supervisor with the ISST; a certified CBT practitioner and supervisor; and CEO of G-krachtpsychomedisch centrum BV, the Netherlands.
