This two day masterclass focuses on Schema Therapy for developmental trauma, incorporating Interpersonal Neurobiology, The Polyvagal theory and Somatic Psychotherapy.  ICD 11 has distinguished Complex Trauma (CT) from  BPD and suggests different treatment for each. The workshop presents how to distinguish between CT and BPD and the implications for Schema Therapy interventions. Participants will be shown how to work with dissociation, physical symptoms, nightmares and other maladaptive coping modes. 

Rita is an accredited advanced schema therapist trainer and supervisor. She is Australia’s most experienced accredited group schema therapist and Director of The Schema Therapy Institute of Australia

Lynda is an accredited advanced schema therapist, trainer and supervisor and Director of The schema Therapy of NSW. She has been in private practice for over 30years and has also trained in psychodrama, psychodynamic psychotherapy, CBT, Circle of Security and developmental psychology.
