About
I have been a qualified forensic psychologist since 2003. Over my career I have worked with men and women who have been involved with the criminal justice system. Since 2014 I have also worked in community homeless services offering psychological therapy to men and women, many of whom have experienced significant traumas throughout childhood and adulthood. Schema therapy has been central to my approach in this work. Additionally I develop psychologically informed environments in community supported accommodation projects where a schema informed approach has been utilised with staff supporting people with complex needs. As part of this I have offered introductory schema training and case conceptualisations with staff to complement the therapeutic approaches utilised with clients.
