Florina Anichitoae is a psychotherapist, clinical psychologist, personal development counselor, and trainer who is currently pursuing a PhD at the "Psychodiagnosis and Scientifically Validated Interventions" Doctoral School at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca. She completed the undergraduate studies at the same university's Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, and then continued on to the master's degrees in "Clinical Psychology, Psychological Counseling and Psychotherapy" and "Forensic Psychology".
Romanian College of Psychologists and the Association of Cognitive and Behavioral Psychotherapies have qualified her as a psychotherapist. She underwent psychotherapy training in psycho-oncology, compassion focused therapy (CFT) and cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy (CBT). With reference to the Schema Therapy (ST) approach, she underwent training in the individual, couples, and child and adolescent modalities. Under the auspices of the Schema Therapy Society, Florina took part in the Schema Therapy Summit editions in 2020 and 2021, as well as in the Schema Therapy conference in Denmark in 2022 and the conference in Warsaw in 2024. In office practice, schema therapy is a primary treatment for personality disorders as well as emotional problems like anxiety or depression.
