About
My practice is guided by the insight and emotional experiencing of Schema Therapy and the coping skills of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) blended with writing, mindfulness practice, the natural environment, and myriad forms of creativity. My work is relational, goal-oriented, and creative, backed by the belief that each therapy session is a journey.
A lifetime in the creative arts combined with my love of the outdoors, animals, and interest in how psychology and environment interplay, is to me the key to reconnecting with Self and others. I work with individuals, teens, college/university students, families, bands, artist collaborators and creative teams, and specialize in quality of life concerns, relationship and social issues, anxiety, depression, gender and sexuality, career and self-esteem struggles, and climate anxiety.
