PERSONAL STATEMENT-Nicole Haubitz- Running for Treasurer

My name is Nicole Haubitz. I am a psychological psychotherapist working with adults, children and adolescents. I enjoy teamwork and love working with both patient groups. I work as clinical psychologist in an in-patient treatment setting for adults as well as a treatment facility for children and adolescents. In both clinics I am responsible for the initiation of schema therapy as a treatment program. Whilst undertaking my psychological studies at university I became seriously hooked on schema therapy and couldn’t wait to start the training, but had to be patient till 2016, when I started treating patients for my CBT license. It was the same year I started working for Eckhard Roediger (former president and treasurer of  the ISST e.V.) in the ISST office in Frankfurt Germany, taking care of the membership processes. Today I am a trainer-supervisor for ST with children and adults, and I am currently in the process of becoming certified for ST with adults and in group schema therapy, since I use GST with my adult and young patients in both clinics.

In order to support our society, I would like to succeed Christian Ferreirade Vasconcellos , and Eckhard before him, as treasurer. We all live in Frankfurt (where the office is located) and I am professionally cooperating with both on a regular basis. This will allow me to carry out all legal functions towards the German authorities and both Eckhard and Christian will support me if necessary. This will guarantee a maximum continuity for the society in all financial and legal issues. I also have a good and long standing relationship with our office staff for many years now, so the transition can be expected to go smoothly. As for professional credentials, I hold a Masters degree in Business Administration and have worked for 16 years in Banking and Finance prior to taking a new turn in life and ‚second run‘ in education and building a career for myself again in Health and Psychology.
